Business identity & certification
Legal identity
Home Front Transit is an assumed name of Disgruntled Outpost LLC, the underlying legal entity. It is not a separate LLC. The legal relationship does not by itself establish transportation authority, vendor approval, a contract, or current service availability.
SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) Program
Disgruntled Outpost LLC, the legal entity for Home Front Transit, is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), effective September 8, 2026.
This certification establishes eligibility for applicable SDVOSB/VOSB federal contracting opportunities. It does not establish NYSDOT passenger authority, NYCPS vendor approval, PASSPort approval, a contract award, or current operating status. NYS SDVOB certification remains separate and in progress.

USDOT registration is active. It is not passenger operating authority.
Account / system setup
Accounts and setup are established. PASSPort is not approved-vendor status or a contract award; PIP is not a contract award; Clearinghouse setup is not FMCSA approval.
Operating authority
NYSDOT passenger authority — Pending; not granted. Any future service will remain subject to the authority, approvals, and requirements applicable to the final service model.
Vendor / contract status
No NYCPS/OPT approved vendor status, route award, contract, or current service authorization is claimed.
Planning with organizations
Home Front Transit is preparing for future transportation conversations with schools, agencies, public-sector procurement personnel, prime contractors, teaming partners, and other organizations exploring future transportation needs. Discussions remain general and planning-level while operations, authority, vendor status, and contract pathways develop.
